Acting Director of Clinical Services, MC, RCC
Richard is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) as certified by the BC Association of clinical Counsellors. He received his Masters in Counselling from City University and undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria. Working with a variety of different clients from teenagers to seniors, Richard strives to help clients develop insight into their problems and co-create plans for implementing healthy change and growth. He works with a variety of different challenges including anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, and borderline personality disorder. He also facilitates a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group for those suffering from emotional dysregulation.
Director of Administration
Stacey is the Director of Administration at South Island Centre. She combines finance and administrative roles to optimize productivity, efficiency and service quality across various environments at the Centre and works to ensure the experience is positive, consistent and valuable to all clients She also works closely with the Board of Directors and Clinical Director ensuring the Centre’s activities are aligned with key strategic directions. Stacey has 14 years experience leading a Design and Marketing team and feels honored to work for a non-profit that has a long and meaningful history in the mental health community. She believes access to affordable mental health care is an integral part of a well functioning community. In her spare time, you will find her enjoying time with her family and exploring the beautiful West Coast.
